Brendon Wolf made an impact in the 7-2 Germantown win over Shady Side. Wolf, who is rated as the 60th best prospect by BNN, hit 2 home runs. Dan Sawyer, who is tied for 7th in the PA- in complete games with 1, was the winning pitcher. Over 8.1 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 6 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Yin-tou Qiu had a big solo home run for the Uruguayans in the top of the second inning. With Germantown leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Javier Téllez and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Uruguayans ahead, 2-0.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Qiu told the Germantown Herald.
