Fort Knox Upended by Redwood, 7-5
The Redwood Rhinos withstood an impressive performance by Fort Knox center fielder Pierre-Yves Robin to defeat the Centennial, 7-5, at The Zoo. Robin was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Pedro Corona got the win, improving to 4-5. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 1 run on 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 4. Bob Morton closed out the game, earning his 15th save.

The Rhinos got a big hit from center fielder Lonnie Harvey. Facing Fort Knox pitcher Bao-tian Ku in the bottom of the seventh, Harvey pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 5th home run of the season put the Rhinos ahead, 7-0.

"It feels good to get this one," Harvey told the Redwood Herald.

Redwood now sits at 36-41, while Fort Knox falls to 42-35.
