Uruguayans Walk It Off for 40th Win of Season
The Germantown Uruguayans did just enough to sneak past the Hicksville Hounds, 4-3, at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Germantown pitcher Juan González, in particular, had a standout performance. Germantown reliever Su-min Kim snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Dean Medley shouldered the loss. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for the Uruguayans.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Germantown. That's when Jorge Ybarra hit a solo home run off 20-year old right-handed pitcher Dean Medley to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"Juan set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Germantown manager Ralph Titus.
