Ballpark of Albuquerque was the site of a competitive game between the Germantown Uruguayans and Hicksville Hounds.

Hicksville right-hander Gilberto Cruz helped his team edge Germantown by the score of 3-2. Cruz kept the opposing lineup in check. The Hounds, at 40-37, sit in 4th place in the Premier Low A.

Hicksville used the timely hitting of Mike Evans to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 11th inning to put the Hounds on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Germantown skipper Myeong-keun Kim.
