Castro 3-for-4 to Ignite Liberty U-21 Offense
The Philadelphia Liberty U-21 beat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 10-7, at Ballpark of Liberty. Fernando Castro, who leads the PA- with a .437 on-base percentage, starred for Philadelphia. He went 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Philadelphia has now won 3 in a row.

The Liberty U-21 got an important contribution from right fielder Gunnar Ellis, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Liberty U-21 ahead, 10-5.

"We knocked the fire out of the ball," said Philadelphia manager Santiago Paez. "The guys swung the bats pretty good, and that's fun to see."
