Hicksville defeated Bompton, 8-6, in large part due to 21-year old third baseman Pyeong-min Pak. Pak drove in 3 runs. The right fielder had 1 double and 1 home run for the Hounds. Zach Castillo was the winner. He's now 1-0. The loser was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Tommy Kramer. Leland Timms recorded the save for Hicksville, his 1st of the season.

In the bottom of the first, Pak had a 2-run home run for Hicksville. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Hounds on top, 2-0.

"It was offense that won us the game," said winning manager Art Manning.
