The performance of Curtis Thomas proved critical in helping Fort Knox beat Northwest Territory, 10-5. The Centennial second baseman went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Jody Ross was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 10 save opportunities. The Centennial improved their record to 49-31 with the win over Northwest Territory.

With Fort Knox leading 5-2 in the top of the sixth, Thomas batted against Northwest Territory pitcher Hoalohanani Enakai. Thomas hit a fastball to right-center for a grand slam home run. His 12th home run of the season put the Centennial on top, 9-2.

"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Michael Malloy said.
