In a tight affair between the Fort Knox Centennial and the Northwest Territory Beavers, pitcher Juan Castillo was in the zone. The Fort Knox left-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Adam Weijman earned his 18th save, after closing out the game. Fort Knox goes to 50-31, Northwest Territory to 51-30.

Ricardo López had a big solo home run for the Centennial in the top of the third inning. With Fort Knox leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he got a fastball from Jorge Flores and swatted a home run to left. It was his 7th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Centennial ahead, 2-0.

"Juan pitched like a champ," said Fort Knox manager Michael Malloy.
