Uruguayans Walk It Off for 42nd Win of Season
The Germantown Uruguayans faced a tough opponent in Memphis pitcher Carlos Hana, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Albuquerque by a final score of 4-3. Hana went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs. Germantown reliever Cory Valéncia picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Yuri Werkman was saddled with the loss. Germantown occupies 5th place in the Premier Low A at 42-39.

Germantown got a clutch hit from Pael Umipeg. The pinch hitter jolted a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Umipeg said.
