Canseco, Flint Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a low-scoring contest between the Flint Crush and the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 19-year old right-handed pitcher Álex Canseco proved to be the difference. The Flint right-hander earned props for his performance in the 1-0 Crush win. The loss makes Plattsburgh 2-2.

Canseco, a native of San Pedro de Macorís, Dominican Republic, was dealing all game. He kept Plattsburgh hitters off-balance, while giving the Crush 6.1 quality innings. Canseco threw 81 pitches, allowing 2 hits and striking out 7.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Canseco.
