Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Cajuns beat the Crossbeaus.

Crowley Cajuns starter Chris Fry pitched his team past the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 3-2. Jason Carroll earned the save for Crowley, his 15th.

Donnie Harris hit a solo home run off Chris Hutchins in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Cajuns ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Harris had 2 doubles, while going 3 for 4.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Crowley manager Bill Wallace. "That's what Chris is right now."

The first-place Cajuns have a one-game lead in their division.
