The Tijuana Toros defeated the Hicksville Hounds, 7-6. Second Baseman Kei-thing Yei deserved a large share of the credit. Yei went 4 for 6 with a double and 3 singles for the Toros. The victory makes Tijuana 25-58.

Tijuana needed the clutch hitting of James Hunt to seal the deal. The third baseman swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Toros on top, 7-6. For the game, Hunt had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
