Hounds Topple Puffer Fish, 3-2
|
In a low-scoring contest between the Hicksville Hounds and the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 21-year old right-handed pitcher Todd Rivera proved to be the difference. The Hicksville right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Hounds win. Hicksville now sports a record of 30-53.
Edmond Gray contributed to the Hicksville win with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the catcher had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Rivera said after the game.
