Crowley took on Ogallala in front of a lively crowd.

The Crowley Cajuns topped the Ogallala Octopi, 6-2, in USPL Low A action at Titans Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Crowley pitcher Paikea Hotu. Bob Stevens closed it out for his 3rd save.

Rubén Vargas had a clutch at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for the Cajuns. Coming up with the bases loaded and Crowley trailing 1-0, he hit a 2-run single.

Crowley manager Neal Davis called it "a good, solid win."

At 48-36, the Cajuns claim 4th place in the Premier Low A.
