Ogallala pitcher Gregory Cameron gave the Centennial all they could handle, but in the end, Fort Knox left Ballpark of Baxter with a win, 1-0. Cameron allowed no runs on 2 hits over 8.2 innings. The winner was Fort Knox reliever José Arenas, now 1-1. The loser was Richard Case. Fort Knox now sports a record of 54-30.

The Centennial relied on center fielder Jared Tomlinson for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.

"This place sure got loud," said Justin Saginov, the Fort Knox manager.
