Tulsa and Plattsburgh duked it out and the Otters came out victorious.

The Tulsa Otters defeated the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 5-3, at Ballpark of Hughesville. Leading the charge for Tulsa was second baseman Bryan Bly. He went 4-5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. The winner in relief was Dudley Farrell. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1. Bill Young notched his 24th save in 30 chances.

Tulsa took a 5-3 lead on Rick Honaker's 12th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Honaker hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Plattsburgh pitcher Dale Petherbridge visibly frustrated.

"Nice win for us," said Honaker. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The win elevated the Otters to 44-41.
