Swing Hits Two Dingers, Warheads Win, 5-4
Amarillo left fielder Mitch Swing made his presence felt in the 5-4 Warheads triumph over the Germantown Uruguayans. Swing went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Joe Jenkins picked up the save, his 15th. The Uruguayans have now dropped 5 straight.

Swing contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Amarillo in the bottom of the second. With his team trailing 1-0, Swing took a fastball from Juan González and stroked the home run to left-center. His 12th home run of the season allowed the Warheads to leap in front, 2-1.

"I was a little disappointed," said Germantown manager Ralph Titus. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
