The Redwood Rhinos put together a convincing win at The Zoo, defeating the Fort Knox Centennial, 17-2. Pat Rawsthorne was one of the hitting stars. He hit 2 home runs. He scored 4 runs and drove in 4 for Redwood. Redwood has an impressive 61-26 record.

With Redwood leading 14-0 in the bottom of the eighth, Rawsthorne batted against Fort Knox pitcher Shigekazu Abe. Rawsthorne hit a sinker to left for a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Rhinos on top, 17-0.
