Rams Pull Off Thrilling 3-2 Win in Extras
The Rams earned a hard-fought, 3-2 win in 10 innings at Ballpark of Wellsville. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Athletic Club KC pitcher Michael Adkins. Adkins went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win was credited to Cheslav Vadbolski in relief. His record improves to 1-6. Fred Briggs took the loss. The Rams, at 44-43, sit in 6th place in the Premier Low A.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Ladue. That's when Keith Hernández hit a run-scoring double off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Fred Briggs to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"This ballgame left me feeling kind of raw," said Athletic Club KC manager Andrew Berven.
