Big Day for Wallace as Rhinos Down Hounds, 7-6
The Redwood Rhinos beat the Hicksville Hounds, 7-6, in part because of shortstop Jordan Wallace. He went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. Picking up the win was George Ringo. He went 8 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits. The right--hander struck out 4 and walked 3. The Rhinos raised their record to 40-47.

Wallace had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 2-0 cutter from William Byrne, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Rhinos a 7-5 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for Wallace.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Hicksville manager Art Manning. "The effort was great."
