The Germantown Uruguayans weathered an outstanding game by Hudsonville center fielder Bobby Gross to topple the Flanderses, 5-4. Gross went 4 for 4 with 2 home runs and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Germantown reliever Carlos Tejeda picked up the win to move to 4-5. Cristóbal González suffered the loss. Germantown has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Germantown trailing 4-3, Reginald Libbinga delivered the decisive blow, stroking a splitter from Cristóbal González for a 2-run double. Ballgame.
