Pitcher Joe Blamey was sensational for the Fort Knox Centennial in his team's 8-0 triumph over the Germantown Uruguayans. Blamey earned the win. By defeating Germantown, the third-place Centennial improved to 49-38.

Blamey dominated for Fort Knox, raising his record to 5-3. Germantown hitters had few good at-bats against the right-hander, who scattered 4 hits over 8 innings while striking out 5.

"My gosh almighty, Joe was tremendous," said Fort Knox manager Michael Malloy.
