Philadelphia had no answer for 22-year old right-handed pitcher Marvin Cowan. The Crowley Cajuns starter stymied Liberty U-21 hitters, helping the Cajuns cruise to victory, 10-1. Cowan got the win, improving to 4-9. He gave up 4 hits and walked 5 over 6 innings. He allowed 1 run. Jorge Rivera closed out the game, earning his 1st save.
