Nelson Hits 2 home runs in Angel Kitties Win

The Bethlehem Angel Kitties beat the Ogallala Octopi, 6-3, at Kittie Park. Bethlehem right fielder Jason Nelson had an outstanding performance. He was 3-5 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Reliever Jin Kim picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Roberto Ramírez took the loss. John Reed earned the save for Bethlehem, his 1st of the year.
The Angel Kitties got a gift in the bottom of the seventh inning, when they were leading 4-3. With two out and the bases loaded, Jari Jorisz reached on an error by the SS, driving in 1 run. It made the score 5-3, Bethlehem.
When asked about his performance after the game, Jorisz said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
Ogallala, with the loss, is still a stout 3-1.
