Cajuns Suffer 3-2 Home Defeat

Hicksville Hounds starter Reginald Benson turned in a sparkling performance against the Crowley Cajuns, leading his team to a 3-2 win. Benson yielded 1 run over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 7. His record improves to 10-3. Hicksville has an impressive 60-28 record.
Hicksville used a well-timed hit by Gerald Jones to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Hounds ahead, 2-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
