Tijuana first baseman Jeff Godfrey helped his team beat the Northwest Territory Beavers, 8-3. Godfrey, who is rated as the 26th best prospect by BNN, went 2 for 4 for the Toros. The triumph makes Tijuana 27-61.

With Tijuana leading 4-1 in the top of the seventh, Godfrey hit a fastball from Juan Martínez for a grand slam home run. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Toros ahead, 8-1.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Godfrey told the Tijuana Gazette.
