Sea Dogs Get Clutch Win Versus Tijuana
The Maine Sea Dogs defeated the Tijuana Toros, 5-4. Third Baseman Tom Rich deserved a large share of the credit. Rich went 2-3 with a home run, 2 walks, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Sea Dogs. With the win, Maine lifts its record to 1-3.

The Sea Dogs got a clutch hit from catcher Jim Brandt. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Sea Dogs.

"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Rich. "I think we showed that here."
