At Ballpark of Baxter, the Fort Knox Centennial and Amarillo Warheads were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Bob Foster, who is tied for 4th in the PA- in wins with 9, imposed his will on the Centennial from the get-go. Relying mainly on his slider, the right-hander spearheaded the 4-0 Amarillo triumph. Amarillo goes to 54-36, Fort Knox to 49-41.

Amarillo used a well-timed hit by Stanford Logan to capture the win. The second baseman socked a run-scoring double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warheads ahead, 1-0. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"The effort we put into this one paid off," Foster said.
