Another Day, Another Win for Lighthouse
The Long Island Lighthouse and starting pitcher Roger Raper stifled the Toledo offense en route to a comfortable 8-0 win at The Lighthouse. Raper got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 4 hits and walked 3 over 6.2 innings. Raper allowed no runs. Perry Cox earned the save, his 1st.

The Lighthouse got a lift from left fielder Feitze Lammers, who in the bottom of the fifth hit a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Lighthouse on top, 1-0.

"Baseball is about momentum," said Raper, "and we feel we've got it in our favor after that win."

The winning continues for Long Island, with the latest making it 8 straight.
