The Fort Knox Centennial defeated the Philadelphia Liberty U-21, 9-4, at Ballpark of Baxter. Fort Knox was led by 18-year old first baseman Paul Bland, who went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 3 times. Elías Negrón picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-3. He struck out 3 in 6.1 innings. Tomás Erdozain closed the game out for Fort Knox, earning his 1st save.

Júlio Campos, who is tied for 9th in the PA- in stolen bases with 6, contributed to the Fort Knox win with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
