Warheads Handed 6-2 Loss
|
Tijuana third baseman Gary Sharpe made his presence felt in the 6-2 Toros triumph over the Amarillo Warheads. Sharpe went 3-4 with a triple and a double, while adding 5 RBI. Tijuana pitcher Ronald Bryan earned the win, hiking his record to 6-6. Otojiro Kozawa suffered the loss. The win puts Tijuana at 36-55.
Tijuana grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Sharpe hit a bases-clearing triple off Otojiro Kozawa. His 5th triple of the season put the Toros out in front, 4-1.
"It feels good to get this one," Sharpe told the Tijuana Times.
