The Zoo was the site for USPL Low A action featuring the Germantown Uruguayans and Redwood Rhinos.

Myron Carter had a strong outing for the Redwood Rhinos against the Germantown Uruguayans at The Zoo. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 10-3 win. Redwood's record now stands at 49-42, placing them 4th in the Premier Low A.

Steven Butterell had a big 3-run home run for the Rhinos in the bottom of the fifth inning. With Redwood leading 4-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Maxence Pillet, who is tied for 9th in the PA- in complete games with 1, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 3rd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Rhinos ahead, 7-2.

"It never gets old," said Butterell. "Winning, that is."
