Both teams had their chances, but the Crowley Cajuns eventually prevailed.
Crowley left-hander Adam Johnson helped his team edge Memphis by the score of 3-2 in 12 innings. Johnson kept the opposing lineup in check. Their 52-40 record puts the Cajuns third in the Premier Low A.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the 12th, an error by the Music allowed the Cajuns to score the winning run.
"This kind of game is tough on the heart," said winning manager Bill Wallace.
