The Amarillo Warheads topped the Tijuana Toros, 5-3, in USPL Low A action at Toros Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Amarillo pitcher Harm Blankendal. Gerald Delgado was credited with the save for Amarillo, his 27th of the season. Amarillo, at 55-37, sits in second place in the Premier Low A.

Amarillo used the stroke of Boyd Barnett to get the win. The right fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Warheads ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.

"Harm did a heck of a job," said Amarillo manager José López.
