Douglas goes 4-for-4 to Fuel Snowpeople Offense
At The Igloo, the Shady Side Zoomies and Ellesmere Island Snowpeople were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Snowpeople first baseman Frank Douglas put his stamp on his team's 10-7 win over the Shady Side Zoomies. Douglas was 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 4 for Ellesmere Island in the contest. Steven Cowan sewed up the save, his 3rd.

Ellesmere Island third baseman Cristo González delivered a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth. Overall, he went 4 for 5, including 1 home run, 2 singles, and 1 double. He scored 3 runs and batted in 2.

"It's always nice to be on the winning side," Douglas told the Ellesmere Island Chronicle. "But we take nothing for granted."
