The Memphis Music earned a close win over the Crowley Cajuns, thanks in part to Lewis Smith. The Memphis right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the PA- with a 9.9 K/9 rate, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Jesús Costa wrapped it up, recording his 2nd save. With the win over Crowley, the Music improved to 33-60.

Smith confounded Crowley hitters. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed no runs on 3 hits.

"When Lewis is on, he can really move the ball around," said Memphis manager Omar Casteneda.
