Rhinos Win with Late Heroics
Germantown center fielder Juan García had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. García went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once, even as Redwood beat the Uruguayans, 11-7, in 10 innings. Redwood pitcher Shi-min Sun got the win. He's now 3-2. Cory Valéncia was tagged with the loss. The Rhinos lead the Premier Low A by 4 games.

Redwood got a clutch hit from Harley Norman. The third baseman socked a grand slam home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 6 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"Games like this one keep the antacid makers in business," quipped Germantown manager Jamie Scott.
