Germantown got a big-time effort from pitcher Miguel Arroyo, but it wasn't enough to keep the Northwest Territory Beavers from winning the game, 3-2. Arroyo threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. Takao Kato came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 5 hits in 3.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. The victory puts Northwest Territory at 34-60.

Northwest Territory got a knockout punch from Zachary Wilcox. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Northwest Territory skipper Josh Stout.
