Otters third baseman António Lópes put his stamp on his team's 9-0 win over the Beaumont Crossbeaus. Lópes was 3 for 5 with 2 home runs and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4 for Tulsa in the contest. Boudewijn Vervoort, the winner, improved to 8-6. He held Beaumont to no runs on 3 hits over 8.2 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The Otters saw their win-loss record go to 46-49. At the same time, the Crossbeaus fell to 40-55.

With Tulsa leading 3-0 in the top of the fifth, Lópes hit a fastball from Brennan Riggs for a 3-run home run. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Otters ahead, 6-0.
