Liberty Suffer 5-3 Loss to Pandas
|
Jerry Cure made an impact in the 5-3 Montana win over Philadelphia. Cure, who finished 5th in the SL in doubles with 29 in 2055, was 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Dan Collins got the win, improving to 3-1. He pitched 5.2 innings, giving up 7 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 6 and walking 1. Montana currently is in first place in the Silver League at 19-14.
Alberto Montés drew 1 walk against the Liberty. In the bottom of the first inning, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run, putting Montana in front, 1-0.
