The Liberty U-21 earned a hard-fought, 7-4 win in 10 innings at Terriers Ballpark. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Shady Side pitcher Kade Crossingham. Crossingham went 7 innings and allowed 3 runs. After today's action, Philadelphia sits at 54-42, while Shady Side falls to 51-45.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Anderson Curry came to bat in the top of the tenth. Facing Shady Side pitcher Humphrey Weegerink, he hit a first pitch sinker for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Philadelphia on top, 5-4.
