Beavers Lose to Puffer Fish in Walk-Off
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Northwest Territory Beavers, 7-6. Catcher Travis Williams deserved a large share of the credit. Williams was 3-3 with 3 singles and 2 walks for the Puffer Fish. Luis Mexa, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-1. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3.1 innings. The Puffer Fish raised their record to 50-46.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Williams hit a fastball from Robin Cecchini for a run-scoring single. The Puffer Fish, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Williams.
