The Amarillo Warheads got a superb performance from pitcher Matthew Hamm, but the Watford City Trash Pandas still won the game, 4-1. Hamm threw 6.2 innings of 5-hit ball. Watford City reliever Francisco Sánchez was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Nukie Barerra took the loss for Amarillo. Watford City now has a record of 3-4.

Watford City got a knockout punch from Jim Lamb. The pinch hitter hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place was electric at the end," Lamb said.
