Yamamoto Impresses as Shockers Knock Off Puffer Fish, 1-0
Narihira Yamamoto brought his A-game to help Surprise defeat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 1-0. Plattsburgh drops to 3-5.

The standout performance belonged to 19-year-old Yamamoto. With his baby face, he looked more like someone starting for a high school team than for the Shockers. His performance, however, was nothing short of top-notch. The youngster dominated the Puffer Fish, striking out 7 and scattering 3 hits over 7.2 innings. Yamamoto is now 2-0 on the season.

"We have a lot of confidence in Narihira," said Surprise manager Nick Hoskins.
