The Bompton Baby Lakers wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter Leonard Sheppard, falling, 2-1, to the Memphis Music at The Stage in Memphis. The win lifts Memphis to a record of 4-4.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Memphis catcher Pancho Santos, facing Pancho Lizalda, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Music the 2-1 win.

"This stadium was a-rockin'," said Santos.
