Angel Kitties Earn 2-1 Win Versus Interns
|
Bethlehem got a strong outing from Mark Robinson as the Angel Kitties defeated the Capital Hill Interns, 2-1, at Alouettes Ballpark. Svatopluk Vejvoda picked up the save for Bethlehem, his 1st of the year. Capital Hill, with the loss, is 4-4.
Bethlehem needed the clutch hitting of José González to notch the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Angel Kitties on top, 2-1. For the game, González had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said González.
