Rentería Impressive in Surprise Win
|
In a tight affair between the Surprise Shockers and the Maine Sea Dogs, pitcher Ricardo Rentería was in the zone. The Surprise right-hander helped his team win the game, 3-1. Stanley Daniel recorded the save, his 3rd. The loss puts Maine at 5-4.
Rentería was dominant for Surprise. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts. He threw 90 pitches over 7 innings in the contest.
