Seals Leads Beavers to Win
The performance of Skip Seals proved critical in helping Northwest Territory beat Surprise, 13-8. The Beavers second baseman slugged 2 home runs, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. The winner was Júlio Herrera in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Phil Monroe took the loss. The hot start continues for the defending champion Beavers. This was their 8th win in 10 games.

With Northwest Territory leading 1-0 in the top of the first, Seals hit a run-scoring single off Surprise hurler Phil Monroe. It was the 10th hit of the season for Seals and put his team ahead, 2-0.

"We maximized our offense today," said Northwest Territory skipper Robert Acker. "That makes everyone's life easier."
