Streaking Crossbeaus Win Another One, 5-1
The Beaumont Crossbeaus picked up a win at The Target, knocking off the Flint Crush, 5-1. On the mound for Beaumont was right-hander Raúl Sánchez. He played a key role in the triumph. The loss drops the Crush to 4-6.

The Crossbeaus got a big at-bat from third baseman Jian-guo Cuan. For the game, Cuan was 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Beaumont a 1-0 lead.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Beaumont skipper José Ortega.
