The Maine Sea Dogs eked out a 3-2 win versus the Watford City Trash Pandas at Trash Panda Field. Nobody did more than pitcher José Bojórquez. He was terrific. Bojórquez, now 2-1, was the winner. In 5.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 2, walking 2, and allowing 1 run. The Sea Dogs raised their record to 4-7.

Maine first baseman Xiao-mei Zhai contributed a timely at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two down, he hit a cutter to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 9th hit of the season and put the Sea Dogs ahead, 2-1.

"José had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Maine manager Pedro Hernández.
