Warheads Fall, 9-3, to Colin, Zoomies
|
Shady Side right fielder Philippe Colin had a 5-RBI game, which helped his team beat the Amarillo Warheads, 9-3. Early on, the Zoomies, at 9-3, have played an impressive brand of baseball.
With Shady Side leading 2-0 in the top of the fifth, Colin hit a fastball from Matthew Hamm for a grand slam home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Zoomies ahead, 6-0.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Shady Side manager Ralph Gilbert.
