Jacobs Lays Hammer Down in 7-0 Win
Craig Jacobs had a strong outing for the Surprise Shockers against the Tijuana Toros at Toros Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 7-0 win. With the loss, Tijuana is 5-7.

The Shockers liked what they saw from Jacobs. The 20-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Toros to no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 10.

"Craig attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Surprise manager José Montalópez.
