Harris 3-for-4 to Fuel Crush Offense

Flint Park was the site for USSL Low A action featuring the Surprise Shockers and Flint Crush.
The Flint Crush beat the Surprise Shockers, 8-1, at Flint Park. Flint catcher Ed Harris had the hot bat. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 runs and drove in 6. Al Casey, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 2 hits and 1 run, while striking out 3 and walking 2.
With Flint leading 1-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Harris came up to bat against Surprise pitcher Martin Humphrey. Harris hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Crush on top, 4-0.
"They just got us," said Surprise manager Nick Hoskins, "and that's all I can say."
The Shockers fall to 5-8 and continue their lackluster start to the 2061 season.
