The Hicksville Hounds received a sterling performance from starting pitcher Ernesto Arroyo, allowing them to shoot down the Ladue Rams, 3-0. Leland Timms wrapped it up, recording his 5th save. With the win, Hicksville is 10-4.
Arroyo earned the win to move to 3-0. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 8 and walking 0. The left-hander allowed the Rams few scoring opportunities.
"Ernesto attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Hicksville manager Art Manning.
