The Shady Side Zoomies got a sterling performance from pitcher Jung-keun Kim, but the Watford City Trash Pandas still prevailed, 5-0. Kim threw 7.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The winning pitcher was Roberto Becerra. He's now 1-2. He went 6 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits for the Trash Pandas. The loss drops Shady Side to 7-7.

The Zoomies had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Trash Pandas going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old first baseman Guarçia Solano came to the plate. Solano hit a solo home run on a 2-1 changeup from Shady Side hurler Jung-keun Kim. It was Solano's 2nd home run of the year.

"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Solano told the Watford City News.
